Magazine Size

I have measured several magazines in order to discover what would be the most appropriate size for my magazine. NME magazine has a length of 30cm and a width of 24cm, however I think that this is too wide and that a slighly smaller length and height would work much better. Top of the Pops magazine has a length of 28.5 and a width of 21cm, this is a good size for the type of magazine I am creating as it isn't too big and intimidating. After this research, I have decided that my magazine will be A4 size as the majority of magazines are this size and by making my magazine the same size, it will look more realistic.
